Fruit Pulses Price Hikes: The common man is always troubled by inflation and especially when this inflation increases on food items. Then the back of the common man breaks. If we talk about the last one month, inflation has increased in many things.
Dal is the easiest thing to make in any home. And almost everyone likes it. But if we talk about the last one month, the price of pulses has increased significantly. And not only pulses but grapes, bananas and papaya are also making people cry.
Prices of pulses increased rapidly
There has been a significant increase in the prices of pulses in the last one month. If we talk about Arhar dal, its price is around ₹170 in the wholesale market. If we consider only the last 3 days, an increase of about Rs 7 to 8 has been recorded in the wholesale rate. Wholesale traders have said that the prices of arhar pulses have been increasing continuously since last one month.
There has been a total increase of up to ₹ 20 in a month. At present the price of pigeon pea in the wholesale market is Rs 150 to 170 per kg. The prices of not only surf arhar dal but also urad and gram dal have increased. Traders have cited less supply as the reason behind the price increase.
Prices of grapes, papaya and banana surprised
Both these Navratri are going on in India. In such a situation, many people observe fast. People generally eat fruits during fasting. Which includes fruits like grapes, apple, papaya and banana. The prices of fruits have also increased significantly in the recent past. Especially earlier where the price of grapes was Rs 80 per kg. So now it has touched ₹ 120 per kg.
If we talk about papaya, earlier its price was ₹ 50 per kg, now its price has become ₹ 90 per kg. If we talk about banana, then some time back the banana was available at the rate of ₹ 50 a dozen. Now that banana is being sold for 70 to 80 rupees a dozen. Where Dal had already shaken the budget of the common man. So now the rise in the prices of the same fruits has completed the remaining work.
